Product Notes on Catalog Printing
Catalog and booklet printing files must be submitted in multi-page PDF format. Please do not submit a separate PDF file for each page. Please note that all pages in your PDF file must be in the proper sequence: outside front cover is page one, inside front cover is page two, etc.
You can reference our color Catalog Printing Templates for clarification on how to set up the design for your multi-page PDF file. Templates have been designed for an eight-page catalog or booklet. If your document is larger than eight pages, please be sure to add inside pages to the middle of the template.
NUBMER OF PAGES
Select the total number of pages you need. Please note that you should count all pages as they are numbered in a book, including all inside pages and 4 pages for the cover – outside front cover, inside front cover, inside back cover and outside back cover
PRINTING & FINISHING

COVER PAPER
You may choose from four cover options.
- Same as Inside Paper 4/4: Printed on the same paper stock as the inside pages with full-color on both sides.
- 100 lb. Gloss Cover 4/0: Printed on full-color the outside with gloss coating. The inside is blank.
- 100 lb. Gloss Cover 4/1: Printed on full-color the outside with gloss coating and printed black and white inside.
- 100 lb. Gloss Cover 4/4: Printed on full-color on the outside with gloss coating and printed full color on the inside.
INSIDE PAGES PAPER
You may choose from three paper options.
- 100 lb. Gloss Text
High-gloss finish for exceptionally brilliant color reproduction
- 80 lb. Gloss Text
Popular lightweight alternative with a high-gloss finish
- 70 lb. Matte Tex
50% recycled paper with 30% post-consumer content
PROOFS
Proof is required for all catalogs and booklet printing jobs. Select one of two ways to proof your job: standard hardcopy or next day hardcopy.
*Note: The proofing process can/will delay the
turnaround time of your job
All proofs are sent to the billing address, unless told otherwise.
- Customers are required to choose a proofing option on this product. Customers can select a free Standard Hardcopy Proof or, if time is of the essence, a customer can order a Next Day Hardcopy Proof for only $50. Next Day Hardcopy Proofs are the same as Standard Hardcopy Proofs but are sent via UPS next day air and have priority over other proofs.
Multipage Booklets have an extra $25.00 (plus tax) fee for each additional Next Day Air proofs.
- We include two proof copies in each shipment. One is for placement only and one is for color only. Please make sure you are approving the correct proof for placement and color at time of approval.
- Customers must have successfully uploaded and attached a file(s) to their order by 9 am EST in order to ensure a next day delivery. We reserve the right to charge an additional $35 per proof if a customer requests more than one Next Day Hardcopy Proof on any order.
TURNAROUND
Turnaround time for your print job begins once your order has been placed and your print-ready files have been uploaded to your account, attached to your printing job and approved for printing. If you ordered a proof, your turnaround begins when we receive approval for your proof.
Please note that production turnaround begins when final print-ready file(s) are attached to your printing job and approved for printing, not when the order is submitted.
Production turnaround time for jobs with approved payment and accepted print-ready files is guaranteed.
If your job is approved by 6:00 P.M. PST (9:00 P.M. EST), production turnaround time begins calculating from that business day. For example, a job for two-day production turnaround that you approved by 1:00 P.M. PST on Tuesday will be shipped or ready for pick up by 5:00 P.M. PST Thursday. Please note that PsPrint offices are closed Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. As a result, these days are not considered when calculating production turnaround time. In addition, production turnaround time does not include shipping or mailing transit time, and you should allow additional business days for delivery based on the shipping or mailing method you selected.
To qualify for same-day production turnaround time, your order must be placed, all files uploaded to your account, all files attached to your printing job and all files approved for printing by 9:00 A.M. PST (12:00 P.M. EST). If an order qualifies for same-day printing turnaround, it will be shipped or ready for pick up by 5:00 P.M. PST (8:00 P.M. EST) the same business day. Orders with same-day printing turnaround placed on Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays will be processed on the next business day.
